ATS AB and Soft Design AB have entered into a strategic partnership to develop a patent pending 3D laser navigational system for AGVs without the use of wall-mounted reflectors.
The agreement combines ATS?s unique 3D laser measuring technology and Soft Design AB?s AGV software development, marketing and sales capabilities. The new 3D laser technology will offer unrivalled precision and accuracy, and lower installation costs far beyond the limitations of the older triangulation laser navigation method released some 10 years ago.
