Scrubbugs, A Medical Clothier, Goes High Fashion - Caters To Trendy HealthCare Professionals

Hobbs, NM (PRWEB) December 13, 2005

?When Gayle and I began to develop the idea of selling medical uniforms, we didn?t realize there was any such thing as a stylish scrub. Yet, that?s where its all going,? commented Todd Simper, part of the husband/wife team that runs Scrubbugs.com, a Website that sells fashionable scrubs.

?Peaches and Dickies Uniforms, our main lines, are trend-setters. You might as well be shopping for casual wear- for all the color and variety that now exists,? says Gayle Simper. ?When we originally got into this business, we didn?t really know how fashion-conscious and forward moving it was,? adds Todd. ?The Medical Uniform and Nursing Scrubs business is going through some major changes. Uniforms may never make it to the actual diversity in casual or formal wear, but the look is certainly changing and may be beginning to evolve. Medical Uniforms used to be known as ordinary whites, but the times are definitely changing.?

?We love our Peaches uniforms. Their wide range of fabrics, of solids and prints of all varieties allow health care workers to truly express an unparalleled freedom of style without in the least compromising its functionality. This is a new way to look and a new way to feel for nursing professionals.?

?Speaking of what?s new, look at the new Dickies line of Suitables, with pinstripes,? mentions Gayle, delighted that her Medical Uniform business has a hint of fashion. ?Some come even with their own handkerchief. And then, how about the new Asiana Collection? How cute can you get??

?Medicine is still somewhat a man?s world and Dickies has an outstanding Men?s collection which includes great surprising scrubs like the camo prints- that?s right a camouflage design, which might fit perfectly with the Dickies? sandwashed cargo pant,? says Todd. ?Things have advanced so far that there?s a lot of excitement that Dickies is about to release a new traditional white uniform. It?s like modern fashion discovering the washed-out, torn jeans. It?s now a big deal to go back to the basics.?

If you?re a health care professional and wish to find out some of the latest trends in men and women?s scrub wear, go to http://www.scrubbugs.com and see what it would take to make you into an icon of the new, medical fashion scene.

Lawhorn's Signature Seasonings Goes Hollywood - Via Tennessee

Haines City, FL (PRWEB) July 27, 2011

Tim Lawhown, CEO of Lawhorn's Signature Seasonings is happy to announce a new partnership with the award-winning national outdoors show "Spiritual Outdoor Adventures" as their sole cooking sponsor for the upcoming 2011-12 season.

Created, produced and hosted by Jimmy Sites, a well-known motivational speaker, Pastor and outdoors advocate, the show is entering its 10th season on the air. This popular "Outdoorsman's" TV show is featured on America's #1 hunting and fishing network, the Pursuit Channel and reaches over 60 million households weekly. The show airs Wednesday nights at 8pm, and Sunday at 12pm each week.

With a focus on the outdoors, hunting and fishing presented with a spiritual dimension, the show is extremely popular with avid outdoor enthusiasts around the world. The cinematography and adventurous nature of the subject matter keeps fans coming back every week and boasts a huge affinity factor that can really drive great results for sponsors. Lawhorn says "the strong brand loyalty associated with the Jimmy Sites organization is what convinced us to go with this show and cable channel for our first venture into television sponsorship".

Lawhorn's Signature Seasonings was named as the corporate cooking sponsor of the 2011 season in March of 2011. The cooking segments, co-hosted by Jimmy's wife, Amanda and Lawhorn's CEO, Tim Lawhorn are entitled "Cooking with Amanda". Their cooking demonstrations are presented more as show content than hard-sell commercial spots. Filming for all of the season's spots were done at Sites' Second Mile Corporation's studio home kitchen with Jimmy behind the lead camera. Sites is known for being as good a shot behind the camera as he is out in the wild, so Tim was confident the results would be on par with the cinematography featured during the show's outdoor adventure segments.

"Spiritual Outdoor Adventures" has a tremendous track record helping their sponsoring companies when it comes to marketing and brand-building, as all of their current and past sponsors will happily testify. He currently works with well-known names like Matthews, Bass Pro Shops, Morrell, Trijicon, Tomberlin and many more to promote the products that he believes in personally. That sets Sites and his show apart from many celebrity endorsers and sponsorship opportunities. Jimmy and his family actually used Lawhorn's Signature Seasonings in their own cooking long before meeting Tim Lawhorn and striking an agreement to work together.

Jimmy's missionary efforts and outreach have taken him all over the world to such places as Africa, Mexico, Canada, South and Central America, Grenada, the Caribbean islands, Scotland, Israel, Egypt, and the Ukraine. Jimmy Sites has been recently highlighted on two different ESPN shows and mentioned throughout the media including the 700 Club, regional and national ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX affiliates, as well as print media such as USA Today, the New York Times, The Chicago Sun Tribune, the Nashville Scene, and dozens of other publications.

Lawhorn believes that this brand-building opportunity will help raise consumer awareness and demand throughout the country. By reaching out to this large segment of the consumer market that appreciates the outdoors, hunting and fishing via the cooking segments featuring Lawhorn's Signature Seasonings during Jimmy's show, Lawhorn's will cement more of the path towards a national brand and grocery store presence.

The cooking segments are now airing several times a week on the Pursuit Channel via Dish Network, DirecTV and several other providers.

This is Tim's first foray into the world of TV, but he has hopes of appearing soon on several other cooking shows. Maybe we will see him soon on Good Morning America or the Food Network.

Lawhorn's Signature Seasoning is now one of America's fastest growing seasoning blends. What started as a grass-roots, small town Florida seasoning is quickly gaining a national flavor and reputation. Tim developed this "secret" blend of all-natural, lower sodium and kosher mix of spices and herbs some 25 years ago, while working as an executive chef.

Finally - Men's Style Webzine That Goes Beyond Seasonal Fashion or Traditional Tailoring

London, U.K. (PRWEB) April 3, 2008

For a long time there has been no magazine or website that caters to an intelligent man interested in style. Those that claim to cover style dedicate as much coverage to cars, women or politics as they do to suits. They are little more than glorified lad's mags. And the true fashion magazines are concerned with nothing but the catwalks.

The content of http://www.MensFlair.com fills this gap. Every day of the week columnists from around the world who are style addicts themselves post their experience and analysis of modern style.

Mensflair.com is not about seasonal fashion - few men change their clothes every six months. Neither is it about staid, traditional tailoring - few men are that obsessed with the past. Instead, it is about the confluence of timeless style, contemporary ideas and personal taste.

Read about why the suit jacket has been killed by air conditioning - and the Logical Waistcoat Theory that replaces it. Read about how preppy style has evolved in the US - from those who have worked in the industry. And read about getting value for money - through the best sales, analysis of profit margins and finding the best tailor.

Cardigans are not just the preserve of trendy youth - reclaim them for your formal wardrobe. Handkerchiefs are not restricted to dandies and pensioners - find out how to wear one casually.

Additional value is that every story receives comments from readers - there's a debate right now on how to wear a double-breasted jacket casually, and the discussion of when to buy from the high street and when designer alone is worth a visit to the website.

Every month the site has over 150,000 unique visitors, according to Google Analytics, and the site's subscribers recently topped 1,000.

Gaps in the market do not last long these days. If magazines fail to cater to a particular taste, the internet will fill it. But there is now such a plethora of blogs about style that the web is witnessing a flight to quality. Intelligent men want one destination for the best writing on men's style, and many of them have found it in Mensflair.com.
